Introduction
The Holy Bible is also referred to as God’s Word, or the Scriptures of Truth.
It is made up of 66 books:
- Divided into two parts:
- The Old and the New Testaments
- Written over a period of approx. 1600 years
- Written by men from different backgrounds: i.e. shepherds, farmers, fishermen, tax collectors and kings
- The Holy Bible was compiled into the list of books we have today in 397 AD at a church council in Carthage.
